1990年代初在大陆引起较大反响的“农村三部曲”（“女人命运三部曲”）电视剧之一，剧情紧接《篱笆、女人和狗》。 小庚（傅英 饰）以4000元从铜锁（王建国 饰）手中买得他和枣花（吴玉华 饰）的婚姻，但与他的婚姻生活并非枣花的新生：小庚不许她再做事、与包括茂源老汉（田成仁 饰）在内的葛家 人来往。茂源老汉将家分完，自己成了儿女眼中的多余人，除了枣花他心牵挂的还有枣花娘（罗啸华 饰），但两位互相钟情的老人只能偷偷地见面。其后，茂源老汉与枣花娘、小庚与枣花的爱情都演变成悲剧，但铜锁与狗剩媳妇结婚后却一反他对枣花的态度。。San Kaew is a cunning girl who disguised herself as a boy to find her real dad. She then finally meets him. Panin, a player businessman, is shocked, then he remembered that he was once involved with a woman named Thipkesorn, San Kaew's mother. He thinks his son is a lady boy and tries to be a good role model to him, so he can be a man, but he doesn't know that she's a girl.。
