When Margaret (Wainwright) and Ben (Gilford) take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie (Crew) and Thomas (Santos) and their two young children (Guiza and Mattle), Ben begins to suspect something supernatural is occurring when the kids behave strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight.。一幢即将清拆的旧楼内，住着一群老街坊，各有不同背景，大都是草根市民。而这幢旧楼正被大地产商看中，计划将之收购重建，故派遣手下向各住户威迫利诱迫迁。各街坊为着得到更优厚的赔偿，各怀私心，抱着强硬态度与地产商对抗，发生连串激烈纠纷，但当中亦使两家斗气冤家化敌为友，同舟共济，面对困难。。
