这是一部跨越年代的爱情故事，灵感来源于宇多田光的两首知名金曲《First Love》(1999) 和《初恋》(2018)。两个少年在90年代末第一次坠入爱河；二十年后，一位即将订婚，而另一位则已离婚，与初涉情网的十几岁的儿子一起生活。。「朽ちないサクラ」は県警広報課の主人公が、親友の変死事件の謎を独自に調査し、事件の真相と次第に浮かび上がる“公安警察“の存在に迫っていく物語。愛知県平井市在住の女子大生が、たび重なるストーカー被害の末に、神社の長男に殺害された。地元新聞の独占スクープ記事により、警察が女子大生からの被害届の受理を先延ばしにし、その間に慰安旅行に行っていたことが明らかに。県警広報広聴課の職員・森口泉は親友の新聞記者・津村千佳が約束を破って記事にしたと疑うも、身の潔白を証明しようとした千佳は1週間後に変死体で発見される。自責と後悔の念に突き動かされた泉は、自らの手で千佳を殺した犯人を捕まえることを誓う。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
