故事以一条全身纯白的巨型鲸鱼莫比敌为中心发展，它是一条被水手们视为魔鬼化身的凶猛鲸鱼。船长阿哈伯在捕捉它的过程中被咬掉了一条腿，这种屈辱与伤痛更激发起他一定要打败这条巨鲸的决心。。本片跟《小鬼当家》是同一个套路，但“小鬼”的年龄更小，只有五岁，调皮捣蛋的程度也远远超过考尔金的角色。本片改编自50年代的漫画及后来的电视剧，小鬼丹尼斯跟邻居威尔逊老头的往来乃剧情的主线。该片在同年及1998年还有两部电影版，但每部演员都不同。。Peace and tranquility have set in Belogorie.
