五毒门乃江湖上一恶名远扬的门派，老掌门靠药浴维系残年，身边只有一个弟子杨得（江生 饰）。有感本门恶事作尽，老掌门命杨得清理本门门户，并寻找其师叔的宝藏。杨得的五位师兄分别习练五种由毒虫而来的武功，分别是：蜈蚣（鹿峰 饰）、蛇（韦白 饰）、蝎子（孙建 饰）、壁虎（郭追 饰）、蛤蟆（罗莽 饰）。 杨得乔装成乞儿，迤逦打探到一座县城，巧遇隐姓埋名的师叔老夫子一家遭人灭门，凶手正是大师兄与二师兄，虽然本县何捕头凭习练蛤蟆功的五师兄助拳将大师兄拿获，但县令与二师兄勾结反将五师兄下狱害死。三师兄时常蒙面夜会二师兄，掌控全局于幕后。 杨得发现何捕头即四师兄后向对方亮明身份，两人决定合力清除大师兄二师兄。暗处的三师兄决定出手了……。某年某月，沉睡超过三百年的冰岛拉基火山爆发，造成超过六百万人丧生，而随之喷出的火山灰席卷英伦乃至欧洲大陆，致令欧洲版块83%受影响。在此之后，20亿吨的火山灰遍布欧洲上空，按照某科学家的预测，拉基火山将导致板块连锁反应，引起一连串的火山喷发。与此同时，高温先是造成极地冰块融化，海平面上升，而浓浓的火山灰遮挡太阳，又致令温度骤降。冰雹、暴雪席卷世界各地，人类即将进入新一轮的冰河时期。 身处各国的不同之人，原本经营着平凡的生活，当此灾难来临之际，他们的友情、爱情、亲情以及生命即将接受最严苛的考验……。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
