上元节夜晚，长安城内妖气弥漫，文武百官进宫赴宴，凌玄上师与爱徒月半娇也在其中。月半娇隐约见到贵妃变成树妖，不顾师父阻拦将其打倒在地。皇帝大怒，下旨将月半娇压入大牢。月半娇狱中遇到同被关押的青年才子杜子腾，二人“不是冤家不聚头“，竟在牢狱之中拌起嘴来。一番激战后，月半娇带着杜子腾成功逃离，但很快二人便发现，长安城危机的背后似乎另有其人作祟。。Weapons of Death is not the most original Polizi flick you're ever likely to see, but that's not too much of a problem since the genre tends to borrow from itself often anyway.
